There is no better time than nail stagnation. When it seems as though all nail polish colors are "been there, done that," the thought of selecting the same hue of light pink again is monotonous and depressing. But fortunately, there is no shortage of nail ideas in the digital age (thanks, Pinterest!), and trending nail colors are constantly in the spotlight, practically begging to save us from decision fatigue. After researching the most popular spring nail trends, I purchased far too many bottles of nail varnish at the store and am now testing them all at home.

Electric Blue

The easiest method to test the trend is by painting your nails blue. Whether you choose an all-over, French, or accent nail, it is certain to make an impression.

Lemon Lime

We saw a lot of neon colors last year, so we are thrilled to see them return this year in a much softer manner. Try lemon-lime for a summery, fresh appearance.

This shade may be inspired by Taylor Swift's Eras tour and her signature red lip this year, but it's always been a classic, TBH. It is the ideal option for someone who just wants to appear a bit more put-together, as it is bright and playful without feeling too summery or holiday-themed.

Emerald Green

We adore the rise in popularity of emerald green this year, whether it's because of the soccer sneaker trend (looking at you, Adidas Gazelles) or lucky girl syndrome.

Lavender

Lavender is currently trending and for good reason. It is a vibrant, eye-catching hue that stands out against all skin tones, making it the ideal option for summer 2023.
